ACE 2026 UNVEILS A NEW SMART MANUFACTURING ZONE

The agrochemical industry is entering a decisive phase of transformation—from conventional, resource-intensive production toward digital, automated and precision manufacturing. Yet many companies still face limited production efficiency, disconnected data, insufficient quality-control accuracy and barriers to process optimization.

To address these challenges, ACE 2026 is launching a dedicated Smart Manufacturing Zone. The new zone will bring together advanced technologies, proven solutions and high-quality resources from across the value chain, creating a one-stop platform for smart-factory retrofits, equipment modernization, technology adoption and business collaboration.

01  Targeted Solutions for the Full Manufacturing Chain

Located in Hall H3 on the second floor of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, the Smart Manufacturing Zone is designed around the full range of intelligent production, testing, control and maintenance needs in pesticide manufacturing.

Core exhibits and solutions will include:

• Intelligent control systems
• High-precision sensors
• Online inspection and testing instruments
• Supporting control instruments and meters
• Industrial robots and application solutions

These technologies will support multiple application scenarios, including production-line automation, online quality monitoring, intelligent process control, smart warehousing and material handling. The zone is intended to help manufacturers address aging equipment, fragmented production data and gaps in quality-control precision.

ACE 2026 plans to invite 12 leading smart-manufacturing companies to form the core of the zone and create a dedicated sourcing destination for the agrochemical industry. Exhibitors may build customized branded spaces, with large-format booths of 36 m² or more available to support stronger product presentation and market development.

02  Conference-Led Industry Exchange and Thought Leadership

The Smart Manufacturing Zone goes beyond a static exhibition. A dedicated meeting room will host two complementary event formats: the Smart Manufacturing Conference and the Agrochemical Intelligence Salon.

The program will bring together leading agrochemical companies, technology service providers, industry experts and research institutions to discuss key topics such as intelligent production control, green manufacturing upgrades, practical deployment of automation equipment and trends in digital transformation.

Exhibitors in the zone may also apply for a presentation slot. Companies can submit a proposed presentation outline for the organizer review and once approved, share advanced technologies, implementation cases and solutions directly with targeted customers, industry peers and value-chain partners.

03  Immersive Industrial-Robot Demonstrations

To move beyond conventional display formats and demonstrate the practical value of industrial robots in agrochemical production, ACE 2026 will combine static exhibits with live, scenario-based demonstrations.

A prime display area in the first-floor lobby will be available free of charge to all participating industrial-robot exhibitors. The organizer will plan and manage the area centrally, helping companies showcase core equipment, reach industry buyers and reduce exhibition costs.

Live demonstrations will simulate key operating scenarios such as pesticide production, material handling, packaging and inspection, allowing visitors to see the efficiency, precision and stability of robotic systems in realistic working conditions.

LIVE DEMONSTRATION SCHEDULE

Each dynamic demonstration will be developed by the participating exhibitor and operated on site by a professional team, with overall coordination provided by the organizer. The result will be a practical, scenario-based technology experience that enables visitors to evaluate robotic solutions at close range.
